I’m sure I’ll be eating tons of fried chicken once Hill Country Chicken opens this summer, but right now I’m all about the BBQ. Last night, we pigged out with our friends Hunter and Paul Bell. Hunter is one-half of Hunter Dixon, the supremely beautiful clothing label that’s finally getting the attention it deserves (though we southern girls have been supporting Hunter and Jen for years now). Paul spent his early childhood in Texas but hadn’t yet visited the ultimate Lonestar BBQ experience. I’m still full from the Two-Step Combo (ribs, brisket, more ribs, more brisket, chicken, bourbon sweet potato mash, potato salad and baked beans with burnt bacon ends).
